Sean Garschi DJs afro house and melodic house. Two sets are published in full: a 49-minute live set at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, recorded in August 2024, and sun(set) radio ep 001, a mix running an hour and a half. He has played rooms in Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City, Miami, and Lisbon.

## The sets

The live set at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles was recorded in August 2024 and published that December. It runs 49 minutes.

sun(set) radio ep 001 followed in June 2025: an afro and melodic house mix running an hour and a half, on YouTube and mirrored on SoundCloud.

## Rooms played

The sets have run across Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City, Miami, and Lisbon. In Los Angeles: Sound Nightclub, Grandmaster Recorders, Winston House, Circoloco, and Among Friends. In New York: Sol at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn, Soho Rock House, and Mikan House. Elsewhere: Dinsmore in Mexico City, Ignoto in Yucatán, Art Basel in Miami, and Lust in Rio by Complo in Lisbon.

## sun(set)

sun(set) is a separate event concept, not a DJ name. It curates and films performances and publishes them in full under @setsbysunset on YouTube, SoundCloud, and Instagram, and it has thrown its own events between Malibu and New York.

Both sets above are published there, alongside other artists. A live set from Sparrow & Barbossa, filmed in Malibu, California, sits next to them.

## Where it fits

DJing is one strand of the practice, next to the photography, the design, and the interactive builds. It also sits close to the client work: Growthr runs campaigns for Keinemusik, Cloonee, and Circoloco Records, labels in the scene these sets come from.
